Very good unit. Image quality. Good reactivity. Requires very high optical. Perfect for use in photo of architectural or studio and even reportage.
I use this device only as a camera. Previously, I was an amateur filmmaker. Then I switched to 16 mm. I stayed long faithful to the latter format because it gave me a picture quality that could offer me video equipment. Last year (2010), I learned that professional film, released in cinemas, had been shot with the Canon like Super 8. So,I decided to buy it. The price is much lower than that of a 16 mm camera, if it still exists.The result far exceeded my expectations: This device restores an image above the ..... 35MM!!. The sound is excellent, especially when using an auxiliary stereo microphone. In short, with the Canon, it has both the advantages of the video (low cost, shooting in all lighting conditions, approvaland possibilities of virtual editing, sound lip) and the pictorial quality and the best cinema sound professional.Filmmakers, brothers, here, finally, the Holy Grail. So go for it!!!. I'M HAPPY!! VERY, VERY HAPPY !!!!!

The rendering of images is excellent, a 24x36 full-frame sensor digital camera that brings the money. Excellent box, very professional, quality impeccable. HD video quality is impressive. A small flash would be a Plus.

Not much to say except that a great case. Beautiful building, beautiful sight, intuitive menu, good image quality in high ISO up to 3200, amazing video mode. With the 24-105 f4 Is you a box pro with reasonable weight, coupled with a 70-200 F4 IS, as you have a case you can take without constraint by any weight or size and with an impeccable image quality. Brief but happiness for the enthusiast but also for the professional. Now it's greedy battery, minimum two batteries if you will not spend the day.

Hi, First of all here I'm not at all pro just passionate.

Until then I had my little 450d gave me great satisfaction to the day I took a friend Canon 5D Review in the hands of lightning flash!
I did not find as heavy as I feared, very intuitive, almost intuitively we start buttons, Getting Started quick and easy.
My first picture with the advice of my friend's settings (it takes more overexposed than the 450D is the most obvious.) And I see the first photo (Not good in hindsight) but with such a difference!. My first tests on horses in motion in very gray and rainy that will convince me that I have no need to burst:) and they just get in the Iso sudden I just increase my speed:) ((I thought one day go to 7D, before touching the 5dII).
At that moment I know it will be the Canon 5D, a dream machine, extremely easy to use.Acquired in early December, I had the time to really handle only recently confirmed the happy picture:). Then the video from 2 days so far I've always had a horror of camcorders, and although I must admit that I like the video now:))). It's unsettling at first, I'm still rocking boat, but the output quality is amazing! I have fun.So without being pro why not have fun:) (and more now we use it for my job), good for the price with my friends have found it full of excuses, no one smokes etc. .... but a camera and a camcorder with these qualities there (HD waouhhhh) separately it must do more expensive.My conclusion, in life there is work to have fun, and pro or not if you love the photo where the fun we had one hell dose ..... as happiness this unit.A small flat all the same, when I convert raw jpeg on some pictures I have a net loss of quality, I have not found where it could coming ... if anyone has a solution, I'm bucket;). Making the picture for many years, I let myself be tempted by this machine recently.
I used a Canon 400D and I was very pleased.I read the reviews that are made on the camera: autofocus a little slow (to dedicate to portrait or landscape), also a bit slow in low light, ... And then finally I cracked, I dreamed of 24-105, and the full frame made me eager for wide angle photos. Why, why, why did you wait so long? I thought that a 5D Mark III would come out soon ... So what? The Canon 5D will always be such good pictures even when the Mark IV will be released;). This device is a pure joy. Genuine Canon ergonomics is so appreciated the appointment tenfold but also by the ingenious engineers Canon. How fortunate to have access to braketing in 2 clicks, my collection of HDR will further increase. The difference between an amateur model and a model pro (or semi-pro) is amazing: both the use by the results.HD video is a nice touch and the results are impressive. Finally, take a camera, learn to tame it, make it your ally and enjoy making pictures! I have this unit for 2 weeks and the rendering of images is excellent.The sharpness is exceptional, but suddenly it requires attention to the development.
The AF is worse than the competition (Nikon) or 7D for tracking moving objects, but the central AF point is very precise, really, and the establishment rapid development in good light. The AF is sometimes a bit hesitant in low light or against days except with a built-in flash illuminator.
This is in all the AF is still very well made. The measurement of the light (I use primarily evaluative) is good but the black surfaces can put it into default (overexposure) then do attention.Also you have to think a correction disable automatic brightness which is useless if not interfere with the photographer, at least for me. With firmware 2.0.4 the video is a treat (shutter priority or aperture are now available, what fun), but the demand for training (the manual focus while shooting is not clear at full aperture).
